sweet and flat as cake icing.
Your body is hard-wired
to make
to hear
to touch
to feel
the sound emerging from instruments
exciting the air next to you
hair
skin
organs
bone and
blood.
Now your body can dance
to the heartbeat of the earth again.
Your cells and your heart-beat remember
the vibration, resonance, and energy you are.
You are a song waiting to be sung again.
You are music in the world.
The universe sang you into being.
Pick up an instrument. Use your voice.
Hear the ocean in your breath.
Hear your song. Live your music.
