The goal of all energy medicine healing modalities, including acupuncture and sound, is not to directly heal the body — for only the body can heal the body — but to cultivate the conditions within which your body can heal itself. It’s about bringing the entire mind, body, and soul together in balance. And balance is better described as harmony.

“Sound healing” is better described as Sound Alchemy. Resonance medicine heals AND it creates alchemy, altering dissonant states of being to harmonious ones. Alchemy is changing the fundamental relationship to yourself and the world. Our intentional sound is a channeled energy transmission, lifting you in expanded resonance, integrating lost soul parts, and revealing the magnificence of your healing capacity. Dress comfortably. Wear loose clothing for ease of needling. Bring your favorite yoga mat/blanket/bolster/pillow to make a comfortable nest. We will have options of chairs for those who need them. If you have an Illuminating Hearts mindfold/eyemask, please bring it. If not, we provide you a loaner. (they are also for sale at our events) As an event for deep relaxation and meditation, children aged 12 and up may attend to maintain this atmosphere.

By entering the event, you give voluntary consent to be treated with Esoteric Acupuncture by Sandra Kreber, L.Ac. LLC. and understand the following:

Esoteric acupuncture is performed by the insertion of single use of sterile needles through the skin, to help balance the body’s physiological functions, while also strengthening and refining the Heart Center.

I have been informed that Esoteric Acupuncture is a safe method of treatment but may have occasionally bruising or tingling near the needle sites that may last a few days. Other adverse effects may include, but is not limited to minor bleeding, dizziness, fainting, pain or discomfort.

I understand that no guarantee to my session as to outcome can be given and that if I need further support, I may choose to continue to receive private sessions with the acupuncturist (Sandra Kreber) and Illuminating Hearts.

I understand that Esoteric Acupuncture is not providing Western medical care and that I should speak with my Primary Care Physician (MD) for those services and routine check-ups.

I have read the above consent. I have had an opportunity to ask questions about the consent, and by attending the event, I agree to the above treatment.

FAQs

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

As an event for deep relaxation and meditation, ages 19 and up may attend to maintain this atmosphere.

What can I bring into the event?

Will the needles hurt?

The needles used are very thin and may cause a slight discomfort upon insertion. Some areas of the body are much more sensitive to needles so you may feel those a bit more. However, if it is too uncomfortable, just let your acupuncturist know and she will adjust it for you.

What can I expect with Esoteric Acupuncture?

Regular acupuncture sessions are more focused on strengthening and balancing the body system to prevent disease. Esoteric Acupuncture’s (EA) focus is to work with “…expanding consciousness and strengthen the root, which is our Higher, Inner Spiritual Heart Center.” – Dr. Mikio Sankey.

You may feel very relaxed and more aligned as EA allows you to open your Heart Center, the field that opens infinite possibilities for your journey on planet Earth. It is the key to the door of YOU, inviting you to walk deeper in life — should you choose to.

How often should I do this?

EA can be used weekly to monthly to keep you aligned and balanced. EA works on your physiological functions as well as your vibrational or energetic centers. You may choose to work privately with the event leaders, and can book a session here: Acupuncture, Sound, and Alchemy.

Can anyone do EA and Sound Alchemy?

Yes. EA and Sound Alchemy is safe for anyone who is ready to align and strengthen the Heart Center. IF you are experiencing a healthy pregnancy, you may attend. Please let your acupuncturist (Sandra Kreber) know when you arrive to the event.

Do I need to sign a consent form?

In essence, you “sign” a consent by purchasing your tickets and entering the event. Read more above in the main event description about your voluntary consent through attendance.

What’s the refund policy?

We refund cancellations in full received 24 Hours or more notice in advance of the event. Any cancellations we receive with less than 24 Hours notice in advance of the event will not be refunded. Read our full cancellation and refund policy.

Will there be filming or recording at the event?

When you enter an Illuminating Hearts (IH) event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. Read our full event policy, including a notice of filming, video and photography. Upon entering the event, you agree to our event policy and effectively release IH, its illuminators and collaborators, and each and all persons involved, from any liability connected with filming or recording. You also waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties associated with the recording. Our intention for filming and recording is to harvest beauty for the world.
