Astara and Orion are thrilled to bring Atasieā to the heartland from Los Angeles! Atasieā is a world-renowned conscious dance facilitator, who will lead the first part of this powerful workshop in a conscious movement healing practice called Dancing Freedom. Let Dancing Freedom unwind the old to open the door to the magic inside you.

Dancing Freedom is a shamanic dance journey that enables practitioners to shift states of consciousness utilizing dance as a form of ceremonial embodiment practice, somatic healing, movement meditation, and celebration. In the Dancing Freedom journey we move through a playlist designed to invoke the 5 elements earth, water, fire, air, and ether, while the facilitator, Atasieā, guides the journey inviting participants to explore using solo/partner/group exercises which facilitate states of ecstatic communion with ourselves, the elements, the unseen, and the SOURCE of all life. Dress comfortably. Wear clothing for movement. Bring your favorite yoga mat/blanket/bolster/pillow to make a comfortable nest for after dance. We will have options of chairs for those who need them during the sound. If you have an Illuminating Hearts mindfold/eyemask, please bring it. If not, we provide you a loaner. (they’re also for sale at our events) As an event for deep processing, deep relaxation, and meditation, humans aged 18 and up may attend to maintain this atmosphere.

Atasieā, (a.k.a. Kenneth Lawrence Ferguson) is a professional Healer, Actor, Dancer, Yogi, and Martial Artist. He is a certified Dancing Freedom Facilitator, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, Capoeira Angola instructor, Reiki Master, and Minister. He is the Co-Founder of both The Dharma Creation Institute, and Ecstatic Dance Los Angeles, a freeform dance event with yoga, massage, sound healing, and live DJs. Atasieā is one of the lead healers on Season 1 of the new reality television series called LOST RESORT on TBS Network, a show about holistic healing and transformational retreats.

He is internationally recognized as a leader in the conscious dance and holistic healing community. What’s the refund policy?

We refund cancellations in full received 24 Hours or more notice in advance of the event. Any cancellations we receive with less than 24 Hours notice in advance of the event will not be refunded. Read our event policy.

Will there be filming or recording at the event?

When you enter an Illuminating Hearts (IH) event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. Read our event policy, including a notice of filming, video and photography. Upon entering the event, you agree to our event policy and effectively release IH, its illuminators and collaborators, and each and all persons involved, from any liability connected with filming or recording. You also waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties associated with the recording. Our intention for filming and recording is to harvest beauty for the world.
