My name is Astara Raven and I am a coach to the stars and soul guide, a writer and sound healer, psychic and medium, dancer and so much more. As a renaissance human and systems thinker, I first had a wonderful career as an architect and sustainable leader, and then I realized I wasn’t living out the fullest potential of my soul. What seemed like a left turn to my family, friends, and colleagues, was the best unplanned spontaneous leap 9 years ago when I moved from California to Nebraska to follow what I thought was my corporate success but turned out to be the doorway to my soul destiny in the heartland. I met my business partner (and eventual husband) a year later and left corporate architecture 3 years later and became a full time soul coach and healer.

Coming out of the spiritual closet sounds thrilling, and for those who’ve experienced it know that it’s at once satisfying and terrifying. Basically, I risked everything. I learned that every risk isn’t really a risk, when it comes from your heart and soul knowing. From my poem Leap I say, “If we allow it, what seems like a dangerous risk to the mind, is a daring relief to our heart.”

Still, the journey can be a wild ride! Full of pitfalls (speed bumps slowing me down for good reason), seeming failures (necessary learning), tormentors (important mentors disguised as tor-mentors), and daunting shadows (aspects of me I didn’t like, avoided, or suppressed that held my superpowers).

We teach what we need most. As an old soul learning to step into my true self, I needed as many mystical tools as I could find and all the shadow work that came with each tool. Now I lovingly share the tools and the process with my clients. I coach others to find their true soul path, guiding them as they say yes to the deepest healing of lifetimes along the way.
