Sound Exploration

This event is unique in that you get to choose to engage with the sonic architecture as you choose. What is distinctive to this immersion is that you can choose to sit and watch, or walk around and let your body move or dance, or bring a comfortable mat or blanket to lay down in a restful internal journey. How you experience the sound is up to you. If you choose to watch, rather than seeing it as a performance, know it is a collaboration with vibration and the instruments are actually playing us.

Sound Alchemy is an organic, restorative, multi-instrumental sound immersion time machine creating a supportive space for you to renew and reconnect to your bio-intelligence. Our sonic architecture, the “cathedral of sound,” pulls from over 100 instruments representing musical traditions from around the world, such as the gong, didgeridoo, flute, drum, shruti box, singing bowl, hand pan, bell, voice, and more. Organic sound means no digital compression or amplification, so the sound comes to you in full frequency.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

As an event for deep relaxation and meditation, children aged 12 and up may attend to maintain this atmosphere.

What can I bring into the event?

Dress Comfortably. Bring your favorite blanket, yoga mat, pillow, whatever you need to make a comfortable nest. If you have attended an Illuminating Hearts sound immersion before, please bring your mindfold/eyemask. If this is your first one, you will be provided one. We will provide the tea and cups, but if you want to bring your own travel mug, feel free.
