SUMMARY:Heart Beats Drum Circle
DESCRIPTION:(Please note: the September Heart Beats Drum Circle is located at Five Elements Veterinary Alternatives office\, but all remaining Drum Circles for the year from October through December will be at Bancroft Street Market) \nCome and drop into the rhythm of your heart\, of life\, of the community. Illuminating Hearts and Hearts Unleashed are co-hosting an ongoing drum circle. Entrain back to the vibration of the earth and your body for better health. Energize and move some much needed energy before your work week. If you feel like shaking your groove thing to the drumming\, shake it. We will provide over a dozen drums and rhythm makers of different types. Bring a drum if you have one. No drum experience necessary! \nWe will also provide a supported dream journey to round out your evening with us. Beginners and advanced journeyers welcome. We will give basic instructions for those new to the experience. \n\n6:00pm-6:15pm: Set the circle\, introductions\, overview\n6:15pm-7:00pm: Community Drumming (all gathered)\n7:00pm-7:05pm: Break\n7:05pm-7:25pm: Dream Journey & Meditation (led by Illuminating Hearts & Hearts Unleashed)\n7:25pm-7:30pm: Close the circle\n\n\nFAQs\n\n\n \n\n\nIs registration required? How much is it?\n\n\n \n\n\nNo registration required\, just show up. The drum circle is $10 and you can pay by cash or credit card at the door.\n\n\n \n\n\nCan I show up late?\n\n\n \n\n\nPlease arrive 10 min early. You can show up late up to 15 min after start time if needed. We will lock doors at 6:15pm.\n\n\n \n\n\nWhen is the next one?\n\n\n \n\n\nThis drum circle will repeat the last Sunday of each month. We will continue to update our events calendar if the date shifts.\n\n\n \n\n\nAre there minimum age requirements to enter the event?\n\nChildren aged 9 and up may attend both the community drumming and meditation portions of the event. However\, in order to maintain an environment conducive to meditation\, we ask that children must be able to remain quiet during the meditation. The meditation is optional and there will be opportunity to leave between these two aspects of the event if necessary (at 7pm). \n\nWhat can I bring into the event?\n\n\n \n\n\nBring a drum or another percussive instrument you think would add to the mix\, if you have one! \n\n\n\nWill there be filming or recording at the event?\n\n\nWhen you enter an Illuminating Hearts (IH) event\, you enter an area where photography\, audio\, and video recording may occur. Read our full event policy\, including a notice of filming\, video and photography. Upon entering the event\, you agree to our event policy and effectively release IH\, its illuminators and collaborators\, and each and all persons involved\, from any liability connected with filming or recording. You also waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties associated with the recording. Our intention for filming and recording is to harvest beauty for the world.
