DESCRIPTION:Come and drop into the rhythm of your heart\, of life\, of the community. Join Illuminating Hearts in an ongoing drum gathering. Entrain back to the vibration of the earth and your body for better health. Energize and move some much needed energy before your NEW YEAR! If you feel like shaking your groove thing to the drumming\, shake it. We will provide over a dozen drums and rhythm makers of different types. Bring a drum if you have one. No drum experience necessary! \nWe will also provide a supported dream journey to round out your evening with us. Beginners and advanced journeyers welcome. We will give basic instructions for those new to the experience. \n\n6:00pm-6:15pm: Set the circle\, introductions\, overview\n6:15pm-7:00pm: Group Drumming (all gathered)\n7:00pm-7:05pm: Break\n7:05pm-7:25pm: Dream Journey & Meditation (led by Illuminating Hearts)\n7:25pm-7:30pm: Close\n\n\nFAQs\n\n\n \n\n\nIs registration required? How much is it?\n\n\n \n\n\nNo registration required\, just show up. The drum gathering is $10 and you can pay by cash or credit card at the door.\n\n\n \n\n\nCan I show up late?\n\n\n \n\n\nPlease arrive 10 min early. You can show up late up to 10 min after start time if needed. We will lock doors at 6:10pm.\n\n\n \n\n\nWhen is the next one?\n\n\n \n\n\nThis drum gathering will repeat the last Sunday of each month. We will continue to update our events calendar if the date shifts. We have yet to schedule the first one in 2020\, but plan on that happening starting in March or April. Stay tuned.\n\n\n\n \n\n\nAre there minimum age requirements to enter the event?\n\nChildren aged 9 and up may attend both the community drumming and meditation portions of the event. However\, in order to maintain an environment conducive to meditation\, we ask that children must be able to remain quiet during the meditation. The meditation is optional and there will be opportunity to leave between these two aspects of the event if necessary (at 7pm). \n\nWhat can I bring into the event?\n\n\n \n\n\nBring a drum or another percussive instrument you think would add to the mix\, if you have one! \n\n\n\nWill there be filming or recording at the event?\n\n\nWhen you enter an Illuminating Hearts (IH) event\, you enter an area where photography\, audio\, and video recording may occur.
